Japan Tourist Visa Requirements

Filled visa application form.
Passport.
Travel itinerary and hotel booking.
Documents which prove that he/she can pay for the travel expenses while in the country like bank statements of the last six months or the latest income tax return.

In case, a trip to the country is taken with the purpose of tourism for Indian students, the documents listed below must be submitted:

Visa application form.
Valid passport (along with the old one, if any).
Copy of the first and last page of the current passport.
Confirmed travel and hotel booking.
Cover letter stating the purpose of visit and the day to day details.
Proof of student status.
